At the beginning of each new year, I always take down my current wall calendar and put up my new one. Some years this is easier than others. It is really hard for me to let go of some calendars because I absolutely adore the pictures. This is why this year I decided to UpCycle my calendar from last year!

It is a super simple process that took less than 10 minutes. The best part is you can use almost any size frame! I used 5 X 7 because that is what I had left on hand from a photo project I completed last year.

Here is what you need to complete this project.

Supplies:

  • Frames of any size- I used 5 X 7, the number of frames is up to you. I used 3 because that is what I had available.
  • old calendar
  • staple remover (optional)
  • pencil or pen
  • scissors or gift wrap cutter (see below, I love this thing)

Such a simple project, but it can freshen up the art on your walls on a budget! I put mine in the bathroom. But they would look nice in an office or bedroom too! The best part is that it took way less than 10 minutes to complete and the cost for me personally was $0! That is because I already had extra frames in the house. But you can get relatively inexpensive frames at IKEA, the Dollar store, or Home Goods.
