One secret about my house is that it is older and there is only one bathroom and it is by the dining room. That is fine when you need to run to the bathroom quickly when you are cooking. It is HORRIBLE when you are eating dinner and there is an unpleasant odor!! That is where Fall Spice Loo Pouri comes to the rescue.

Everyone goes number 2, but no one wants to talk about it, or smell it! So, I set about finding out how to make these #2 Loo Sprays. I like to call it Loo Pouri. I have made one that has Bergamot, Lemongrass and Blood Orange too! But in the fall time, I like to spice it up!

Besides being a GODSEND at my house, they are just super simple to make and everyone loves them as a gift. They make a great gift for friends, family, hosts, neighbors, coworkers, etc.

What I love most about Fall Spice Loo Pouri, is that the time to make several bottles is well under 10 minutes of total work time. Plus, it was less expensive than the brand for sale!! It works just as well and I just feel better about all the money I saved.

Fall Spice Loo Pouri

Ingredients

  • rubbing alcohol
  • vegetable glycerin
  • distilled water
  • Cardamom essential oil
  • Bergamot essential oil
  • Cedarwood essential oil
  • Blood Orange essential oil
  • or you can use Barefut Spiced Chai Essential Oil (I LOVE this brand!!)
  • aluminium bottle or glass bottle

Directions

  1. In an aluminum bottle or glass bottle (if you use a glass bottle use a blue or brown bottle, not clear) place into the bottle
    1. 10 drops of Cardamom essential oil
    2. 10 drops of Bergamot essential oil
    3. 10 drops of Cedarwood essential oil
    4. 10 drops of Blood Orange essential oilAdd Essential Oils to your aluminum spray bottle
  2. Add 2 and 1/2 Tablespoons of rubbing alcohol place the top on and shake for 20 to 30 seconds.Add Rubbing Alcohol to you essential oils
  3. Remove the top
  4. Add 1 Tablespoon of Vegetable Glycerin. Some people say castile soap will work too, but I used the glycerin. I have tested it previously and I know it works. If you do not have vegetable glycerin, I would recommend adding 1 Tablespoon of castile soap instead.
  5. Fill with distilled water, leaving enough room that when you shake it the contents can easily mix.Add water
  6. Add the top and shake.
  7. It is ready to use! All you have to do is shake before you use and spray 6 times in the toilet before you go. voila!!

I was able to make 10 bottles of Loo Pouri in under 20 minutes. That is pretty awesome! It makes a great gift for Neighbors, CoWorkers, Family, and Friends alike.
